@GossiTheDog The one where he's standing in Titanic's flooding wheelhouse is probably more apt

@queerfemmedyke@strangeobject.space Oh God yes. The only thing those that suffer know is that it is better not to.

Oh and the behavior of Bitlocker FDE is absolutely delightful in this scenario

@djsundog@toot-lab.reclaim.technology That is sort of supposed to be the Crowdstrike model, the mass pooling of leads and heuristic tuning. It works fairly well. Until it doesn't.

@CyclopsCaveman@octodon.social Reminds me of that peep show episode with the guy drying sheets of paper in the toilet shouting "It's not piss"

I would add to what @GossiTheDog said about some professional responses to what happened today. "De-enterprising" is not a useful or helpful sentiment. Many of us simply do not live in that world. There are many reasons from insurance to legal liability that obligate proprietary solutions. It's not ideal, but neither is the world generally. Windows is a professional reality, so is EPDR. They're not going anywhere, we just have to learn what we can.

The worst thing about today is having to spend so much time in Windows and if you know me at all you know how much I hate it. It's just not my strong suit, but there's too few of us for me to be picky.

Monday will bring the memes, Tuesday will bring the lawsuits

@thegibson how they do all this shit while upside down is just beyond me

@ApocalypseSoon@mastodon.social @ricmac@mastodon.social Oh my God that was, like, last year?

Enjoy your Friday folks, what's left of it, wherever you are.

Well that has been a very trying day. It started with an all hands call at 0700 and did not stop

@why because usually you'd get told to do one.

@soc@chaos.social @shortridge@hachyderm.io We already rolled it out 🔥

Perhaps we should try changing SCE to Aux
