@dysfun Jesus that is very close to home. When something like this happens your work having you corner is just so important psychologically. Stress can kill you faster than any disease.

@checkervest Yeah it didn't land for me at all. I hated all of them. There's one really good scene with the caretaker giving the principal the facts of life, but that was it.

@aral @beaufils@mastodon.social @myoan@framapiaf.org @mwl I can tell you masto admin even on a single user instance has some surprising overhead. Storage fills up over time. You have to just figure this all out. I do Linux for a living and I find it a bit of a pain on occasion.

Endoscopy this morning. I always get a bit of a beating with anaesthesia and I slept for four hours when I got home. Of course now I can't bloody sleep. The dog is also snoring next to the bed and apparently dreaming of chasing something.

It has a *loud* fan

The WAN network remains up which seems lucky.

Power's out, and has been for over an hour. I've got a Ryobi power pack thing that takes the same batteries my mower and leaf blower use; it's been doing really well running telly and router.
