A view of the SM92 on the ground. Kolobrzeg is now a flight club, but its cold war past is visible in the background; the hardened aircraft shelters used to be home to MiG-23s. Infamously, in 1989 a MiG-23 from kolobrzeg had a mishap and flew pilotless across europe, ending in a tragic crash.

Throwback to a summer holiday in Poland. This is Kolobrzeg airfield, and the parachute club were offering rides in their mule for 50 Euros, so of course I had to go in it. As I got in, the crew said to my girlfriend "For 100 Euros, he doesn't have to come back."

As is always the way with cars, I took mine in for a scheduled oil change and discovered two tires need to be replaced, as it's torque vectoring AWD, that possibly means all 4 dependent on circumference spec. Cars, man. Might as well set fire to.a pile of money.

I am increasingly convinced that the much healthier atmosphere on the Fedi is because there's no algorithmic fuck-fuck games like trends or 'popular', which is usually a codified way of increasing engagement, or as it is more commonly known, arguing with people you don't know, about things you don't care about.

@StephenTallentyre@infosec.exchange This is fascinating. When watching flight deck videos I really wondered about the fonts and rendering, as the lighting is so varied and at times, pretty harsh.

@mrsaturday If they weren't doing that they would be operating gas chambers somewhere so ⚖️
