They're also late to the party; this was done to death years ago.

I'm looking at a thread on bird site of Journos kvetching about DMs getting read, because they're all disgusting little gossips and are scared it'll come out.

They're going to protest by not coming to the Fedi. I am of course devastated.

Some quick pictures of the dog this afternoon, he was by the window in very bright sun so pulled the camera out.

One of our intern's handiwork. I forgot her name, just the one time. I do miss her.

Conemagh Dam, PA, in March 2018.

I think I used a polarizer, or it might be the light fall-off on the full-frame sensor, Not sure.

I hope everyone has that Friday feeling. It's beer O'clock!

It sounds to me like the bass and percussion just follow the guitar, which is an old weakness of *so many* thrash bands.

Listening to the most recent Revocation album and I still can't quite gel with modern metal. There's no dynamic range, it all sounds so compressed into burst beats, it just doesn't breathe.

Maybe I'm too old.

The fedi won't really have made it until I see endless K-pop references I don't understand

Mid-day Friday’s #record #NowPlaying is “The Sea” #Avant-Garde #jazz #instrumental music by Ketil Bjornstad. Piano, cello, drums, guitar, synths …
Reminiscent of of “The Lost Songs of St. Kilda” in instrumentation and playing but a bit more contemporary spice. Review says “somewhat boring” I prefer “relaxing”.

I am not familiar with the source material, but I am enjoying the Foundation telly adaptation thing very much.

Am I supposed to treat the mass migration of journalists from Twitter as a good sign?

Because they were the *worst* thing about Twitter.

Holy heck VW are here! Is that one of the first big corporate accounts on the Fedi?

A reminder that around the time of the Model 3 ramp-up people were predicting the death of Tesla daily, mainly on Twitter. It's a drama machine.

We don't have to be like that.

There's an at least 20% chance that somewhere out there is a company with a button that literally says "What are you even doing? Don't fucking press this button!", but the programmer that labeled it that way left a decade ago, running the business requires pushing the button every day and nobody has prioritized even relabeling the button.

Not sure why bullshitter Buxton is claiming Ferrari hoped to take a championship this year. *They* said no such thing.
