More snow on the way. We have not had much this year.

This blog post comes from deep inside the world of advertising, from people trying to move away from cookies. And along the way offer a VERY rare insight into the dark technology behind advertising and tracking ("hashed offline passbacks", "first and multi-touch attribution"), stuff you almost never read about. blog.sentry.io/we-removed-adve

Whoah. It was cold enough here in #Alberta that #propane condensed in a wine glass. 🤯

I know it's incredibly bougie of me but being able to warm my car on a 15F day is such a good quality of life thing.

Early cassette-based ROMs never took off because of speed issues, and a lack of very tiny pencils.

I saw my neighbor's giant golden lab on a rare walk in these 15F conditions. This dog just adores my kids and runs out to say hello. Unfortunately my own dog gets extremely jealous with this giant interloper, and does not deal well with him receiving affection from us. He's been sulking all day.

The 737 Max-9 hasn't been assembled properly. You can bet it's not just the plug door. What a mess. Boeing used to know how to do this, then capital took over. Outsource your manufacturing and QA, see what happens.

British Airtours 5390 had a window blowout because of improper fasteners being used, it almost caused the commander to be pulled out the window. Cabin crew held onto his legs while he lay on the aircraft's nose. Pressure hulls are serious shit. Like the Alaskan accident, this was not actually at full cabin pressure either.

One of the most beautiful things in the world remains the moment in one of the final Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 cutscenes where Tim Curry _barely_ holds it together. Both that it exists, and that that's the take they went with.
