As we approach the holiday here I'm reminded of the ever hilarious Dennis in Derry Girls trying to flog his dodgy flags

@david_chisnall My boss just ask me last week "Are we doing anything with generative AI?" And I know he heard it in a meeting. The nice thing about Goldman is that they have an inexplicably good reputation at the altitude where the most hot air currents can be found.

Looks like I moved up a spot and am now the author of the fourth most-downloaded article in the ACM Digital Library!

And this is why all of your academic publications should have absolutely shameless clickbait titles.

@elizabethtasker I wonder this about Death In Paradise's St Marie. I'm surprised there's anyone left.

@Pipski My bike is entirely insuited for carrying anything, including my fat arse

If Lord of the Rings was real, every time Frodo makes it to the volcano he would have to complete 5 forms about his visit, despite having been before and despite Sauron knowing it all anyway. Yes I'm at the doctor, why do you ask?

@LifeTimeCooking I see pictures of grey landscape and barren trees right now, it feels so far away. And yet it is under 5 months.

@Pipski we have Jen's still and I have a rental but it's only 80% comp'd but will see me through

@Pipski Yeah just a mega wait but beats having to get another car I really can't afford!

@dch @Mitsu Thanks! He was actually great. I was a bit dazed and he did all the talking with the police. Had a bit of a bad day 48hrs later but he's a good lad.

@piggo it's not the best picture of the numper but it is actually broken in two and there's a lip underneath it that is broken

@Mitsu Yes. Me and my oldest son. We got hit by someone who then fled on foot. Police all over the place in minutes. This was his car.
