Well, #westworld got cancelled. The last season was the strongest in a while, but the show foundered in LOST territory around mid-season 1, and since LOST you can't do that anymore.

It is important to recognize where the demand for these things come from. A whole bunch of people came over from Twitter, the big #numbers accounts. They were at the top of the food chain, and they see themselves as the same here. For them, nothing has changed.

They will push for anti-features that ensure they can game the platform and remain at the top of the tree.

I'm thinking of the old GNUSocial days, I think I was on qvitter.is before self-hosting. All these places hat had been going for years. Now it's all gone.
