First session on the new Smart trainer, the posture is different enough that I felt that more than the exertion. I had this same issue at the start on the stationary bike, I just need some hours on it.

I went to the preservation society's wooden and stone houses today. Very cool. One room had the occupants dresses from ~1920, with photographs of her wearing them. Women were absolutely tiny little things then.

Derry Girls pulls off the neat trick of dealing with pretty heavy context and being howlingly funny. I really liked it.

Xmas party was fun. I didn't go last year (was sick) and so many people have started iduring the pandemic there were a lot of unfamiliar faces, but It was great to meet so many people and actually socialize. It's been a weird couple of years.

It predates the Apple II.
The first version for the Apple II came out sometime in 1977-1978, but the one people remember for the Apple II is actually the 1985 remake, after the previous release was so successful.

So, and Lux Aeterna. It's strong out of the blocks, and really grows. Very interested to hear what the album is like. Hatfield's vocal style is the best it's been in years, nice to hear Lars grooving although this ratatatatatatata crash crash thing he's done for the last 2 decades is...well, you know.

I work with some very, very smart young people and this timeline seemed a little fanciful to me, which caused some cynicism in the rest of the story.

The Hive social story never added up to me. A developer that decided they thought they could do better than legacy social media, so taught themselves coding in June 2019, releasing an application in...October, just 4 months later. There was apparently and unnamed developer involved too. Now..
